DIY Eucalyptus wreath nr. 2 (and the Brussels Choral Society)

Perjantaina oltiin muutaman työkaveripariskunnan kanssa kuuntelemassa Handelin Messiasta The Brussels Choral Societyn esittämänä. Oli aika vaikuttava kokemus. Ensimmäistä kertaa keskityin seuraamaan lauletut raamatunpaikat ohjelmakirjasesta.

 ----

I made yet another eucalyptus wreath for the door. The big old snowflake was just fitting to make a simple wintery arrangement. This year I was amused when I saw that our neighbor was faster than us in decorating his door across the corridor already in the very beginning of December! Usually we are kind of hard to beat when it comes to setting up Christmas decorations early, hah.

On Friday night we went with couple of colleagues to listen to Handel's Messiah performed by the Brussels Choral Society. It was a strong experience to listen to a huge choir and orchestra! For the first time I actually concentrated to follow the Bible texts from the program booklet. The performance was amazing rich in theology from the Old Testament prophecies to the resurrection!

I could not trace the BCS performance in youtube, but the videoclip above was my very favorite from the first part.
