Mukavaa ystävänpäivää! Täällä se on perinteisesti vain pariskuntien juttu, mutta tänään me juhlistellaan sitä hiukan tyttöjen filmi-illan merkeissä ystävänpäiväperiaatteella. Tyttö sopi nimittäin ystävänsä kanssa, että katsottaisiin yhdessä Ylpeys ja ennakkoluulo. Siihen saumaan sitten kehiteltiin isompaakin tyttöjen juttua, mutta suunnitelmat menivät uusiksi monta kertaa. Yllätykseksi jää, mitä niistä bileistä lopulta tulee, mutta se on varma, että syödään sokerisydämiä, suklaakakkua ja popcorneja ja ihaillaan filmin päähenkilöitä... Itseasiassa tykkään enemmän sen filmin lavasteista ja kuvien värisävyistä kuin itse tarinasta, mutta nuo vanhan ajan romanttiset sadut uppoavat tyttöihin jokaisella aikakaudella yhtä hyvin.

Happy Valentine's Day! Here it's traditionally more a romantic kind of a thing, but today we'll be celebrating friendship with the girlies. My daughter and her friend proposed some time ago, that we should watch Pride and prejudice together. We thought to get big bigger crew together for a fun girls' film evening, but our plans crushed more than once. So, tonight it will be a quite of a surprise what kind of party will turn out, but there will certainly be heart-shaped candies, brownies, popcorn & co. and we'll all be marveling at the cute main actors... Actually I prefer myself the set pieces and colors to the actual story, but those old fairy tales are always fitting to the girls in any generation, aren't they?
