Ettei vain marokkolaista!?! - Not Moroccan!?!

(Ainakin hetken aikaa.)

---

I would have never thought that I'd bring anything like this to my home. (Moroccan style has never attracted me a bit! Decoration-wise it belongs to me bit to the same category as, let's say, Mexican...) But now I just could not say no, because seeing two of the pots together was a kind of a "statement." Such a statement in decoration can obviously range from absolutely beautiful to absolutely horrible, but the point is that it always provides a focal point.

The black lines of the pattern actually match incredibly well to the furniture in the living room. If you saw them on the black side table, you'd think I had purposefully sought for them. My original purpose was to store them in a cupboard until I get a feeling for "a blue phase" for decoration. But then, after washing the pots, I thought that it was better that they dried properly from inside, too, and placed them on the window sill in the kitchen. That's were they are now. Not bad! Two terrible things together can look incredibly good. (At least for a short while.)
