Hiutaleita?

Kiinnitin jo muutama viikko sitten ruokapöydän yläpuolella olevaan lamppuun pari suurta valkoiseksi maalattua oksaa.

There are some white branches and snowflakes above our dining table. The flakes are every year the first Christmas decorations I set up. Coming from the North, the snow belongs to my idea of the winter season. However, I have lived in central Europe long enough to know that a winter may be nice even without it. Yesterday a dark cloud covered the sky as we drove home from the ballet lesson. My daughter hoped the cloud would turn out to be a snowy kind. I told her that the weather is not cold enough for snow. She reminded me that it is not worthy to think always so logically, because God is able to send snow whether is warm or cold... A relevant reminder, I thought.
